OUR STORY

Ever since I can remember, my mom has always baked. On the weekends, my sisters and I would wake up to the sounds of a mixer and wonderful smells coming from the kitchen. Whether it was making birthday cakes for family members or making small orders for friends, she was always baking. Little did I know at the time, she was repeatedly trying to perfect her cake recipes.

 

Mom remained in the food business after moving the family from California to Arizona, in the summer of 1999. She became a hostess at Crackers & Co. Cafe in Mesa, but one day, she got her shot in the bakery. She quickly shined as the Head Baker, and was a vital employee for several years.

In 2006, mom decided to open up shop with her very own bakery. On March 4th, 2007, the doors of La Guadalupana Bakery were open for business!

 

Mom's perfected, wonderful tres leches cake recipe is what we are known for -- amongst all of her other amazing recipes. You'll likely see my dad, or my older sister helping you out. Regardless, come say hi!
